Birthright Winter 2019

carson

Tue Mar 3

From wandering the colorful aromatic streets of the shuk in Tel Aviv to stumbling along the ancient stone of Jerusalem, Birthright truly provided a crash course adventure in Israel.

Joining a trip of late teens and early 20-somethings, I was excited to meet new people and experience an exciting adventure on the other side of the world. Those incredible 10 days were filled with laughter, late-night conversations, a borderline excessive consumption of shawarma, and genuine moments where everything stopped and I struggled to take in the beauty before me.

While Birthright provides a ’once in a lifetime’ unique experience in another country, it adapts to the present, providing education and programming to help support Jewish students and young adults to make their own opinions and empowered decisions.
